This bulky yarn jumper breaks all the basic principles of cable knitting. The regular repetitiveness of cables continues only to the armholes. Then their rhythm and monotony, which we are used to seeing in cable sweaters, is interrupted by small patches of the smooth purl surface and another simplified cable pattern. So the design becomes more impressive – we lose its direct purpose to be only "foraging," "hiking," "fishing," or "skiing" sweater. In the dispute between the three stitch patterns and using the modular origami technique, constructive elements shape the drop shoulder and improve the fit. So the bust darts (side horizontal darts and shoulder darts), shoulder slopes, and the increase of the armholes use a combination of short rows, simple cables, and different widths of the purl surface wedges. Moreover, those elements shift from their usual place at the edges to the middle of the piece. A narrow, smooth surface between armhole cables and sleeve cables makes the look lighter and visually reduces the volume of the dropped shoulder.
