Dahlia – the richest and the most generous of all common garden flowers. Sometimes it behaves like a little narcissist. Rarely do we pass a dahlia bush without noticing its greatness. For some reason, we always stop, take a flower in our palms and wonder at its royal majesty. Each flower is woven of hundreds of small petals, it is pleasing to the eye and proclaims the beginning of another beautiful fall. Sometimes design is born first, and the name comes with time. Sometimes it is quite the opposite: the name inspires the design. Just, in this case, the dahlia was a prototype of this jumper – a voluminous one, woven of hundreds of petals and, of course, full of himself. Noticeable positive ease, dropped shoulder, boatneck, bust darts transferring to a yoke, a different slope of back and front shoulders, no neck band. A moderately lush sleeve has also been added to the whole “lushness” of this, not an ordinary jumper.
